The candidate will be part of our dynamic Research & Development team and responsible for contributing to cutting-edge research and development projects in the field of Dependable Embedded Systems. This is a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated university students (Master or Bachelor level) to gain practical experience,
develop their skills, and contribute to real-world projects within the exciting realm of Industrial Devices.
Projects You Could Be Involved In (this is just a list of examples):
- Industrial Device Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of software and hardware solutions for industrial automation, control systems, and sensor networks.
- Functional Safety Enhancement: Apply your knowledge to improve the safety and reliability of embedded systems by implementing industry-standard safety protocols and methodologies (e.g., IEC 61508).
- Software Development Quality Assurance: Help us develop and implement robust testing strategies and code quality assurance processes for our embedded software projects.
- Hardware Design for Dependable Systems: Contribute to the selection and design of hardware components that ensure the dependability and resilience of our embedded systems.
What You'll Do:
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of embedded software systems
- Work alongside experienced engineers on diverse projects in areas such as industrial automation, robotics, and smart factories
- Gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and technologies
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to the development of innovative solutions
- Prepare a Master or Bachelor thesis based on your internship project
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Master's or Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics with Electronics as a focus, or a related field.
- Strong theoretical knowledge in embedded systems, software engineering principles, and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
